Our Standard Practices

These are some of the standard practices we use when prepering a batch for fermentation and/or during the fermentation process.

  • All equiptment is sanatized using Star San
  • All grapes are destemmed and crushed by hand
  • Fermentation vessel type: Stainless steel fermenter or glass fermenters
  • Fermentation vessel cover: Open air, covered with towels only (no airlock) or airlocks when using glass fermenters
